I'm calling from New York. I've lived here my whole life, down in Lower Manhattan, and what happened to me back in 1989, I'll never forget it. My husband doesn't like me talking about this, but I need to tell someone. This was late November, November 30th to be exact. I was 41 years old at the time, a housewife, mother of two boys. We lived in this apartment building, 12th floor, right near the water. I'd been having these strange dreams for a while, actually. A few months before this happened, we'd taken a weekend trip up to the Catskills, and I had this nightmare where I was floating, and when I woke up I had a nosebleed. Bad one too. I couldn't explain it, but I tried to put it out of my mind. But that night in November, everything changed. I was sleeping next to my husband Mike. It must have been around three in the morning, maybe three fifteen. I woke up suddenly, and I just knew something was wrong. You know that feeling? Like someone's watching you?

I opened my eyes and I looked around the room, and that's when I saw them. Three figures standing next to the bed. Small, maybe four feet tall, grayish skin. And their eyes. God, their eyes were huge and black, like nothing I'd ever seen. No expression on their faces at all. I tried to scream. I tried to wake Mike up, shake him, anything. But I couldn't move. Couldn't make a sound. It was like my whole body was frozen. One of them, the one closest to me, it looked at me and I heard this voice in my head. Not words exactly, but I knew what it was saying. Be quiet. Stay calm. It wasn't threatening, but it wasn't asking either. Then this light came through the window. Bright blue light, like nothing I'd ever seen before. It was coming from outside, shining right into our bedroom. beam lights were reported over Manhattan that night - Bella' And I started to float. I mean it, I started rising off the bed. My body just lifted up like I weighed nothing.

I was moving toward the window, and I remember thinking, we're on the 12th floor, what's happening? But I went right through it. Through the closed window, through the glass like it wasn't even there. And then I was outside in the air, floating above the street. I could see the city below me. The lights, the buildings, everything. And above me was this craft. It was huge, oval-shaped, reddish-orange color. The light was coming from underneath it, this beam that had me suspended in the air. I was still in my nightgown, white nightgown, and I was completely paralyzed. I couldn't even move my eyes. The beam pulled me up into the craft. There was an opening on the bottom, and I went right through it. Then I was inside, and the three beings were there with me. The walls were curved, metallic, grayish. The light seemed to come from everywhere, but I couldn't see any light fixtures. It was completely silent.
