Good evening. My name's Joseph, and I'm calling from Maryland. I worked as a remote viewer for a classified government program back in the eighties. What I'm about to tell you is documented. It's in the public record now, declassified. You can look it up yourself. But when it happened, when I was actually in that session, I had no idea what I was seeing. This was May 22nd, 1984. Fort Meade. I'd been working with the program for a couple years by then, doing remote viewing sessions. If you're not familiar, remote viewing is when you use your mind to perceive a target location. Could be anywhere. A building across town, a military installation overseas, whatever they needed intel on. That morning, I came into the session room like usual. My monitor, the person who guides the session, handed me a sealed envelope. Standard procedure. Inside was a set of coordinates and a time period. That's all I got. The coordinates were 40.89 degrees north, 9.55 degrees west. And the date, one million years B.C.
Now, I didn't know what those coordinates meant at the time. That's the whole point of the protocol, you know? You're supposed to go in blind, no front-loading, no preconceptions about what you're looking at. So I settled into my chair, closed my eyes, and started the process. First thing I got was a sense of scale. Massive scale. I was looking down at something from a great height, like I was up in the atmosphere. I described what I was seeing to my monitor, and he wrote it all down. Pyramid shapes. Very tall, very large. Angular. They looked weathered, ancient, covered in some kind of dust or debris. My monitor asked me to go closer, to move down to ground level. So I did. And that's when things got strange. I mean, stranger than remote viewing already is. The landscape was desolate. Barren. The air felt thin, wrong somehow. There were these massive structures, but they were in ruins. Crumbling. Like they'd been abandoned for an incredibly long time.
I moved through the ruins, describing everything I perceived. There were chambers inside, carved or built, I couldn't tell which. The walls had markings, but I couldn't make them out clearly. Everything was covered in layers of dust. CIA doc is on their website, I pulled it up - Sage' My monitor kept asking me to look for inhabitants, for any signs of life. At first I said no, nothing. Just ruins. Just emptiness. But then he pressed me. He said to go further back in time, to when the place was active. And I don't know how to explain this, but it's like my perception shifted. Suddenly I wasn't looking at ruins anymore. I was seeing the place as it had been. There were people. No, not people exactly. Beings. They were tall, very tall. Thin. They wore some kind of light clothing, like robes or wraps. I got the impression they were in distress. Something was happening to their environment. Something catastrophic. The atmosphere was changing, becoming unbreathable. They knew they were dying.
